Originally from Truckee, CA. Renée originally came to Miami to study and play college golf at Barry University. She graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology with the intention to go into medicine. Her plans changed her last year of college when she broke her wrist and started working in the golf business at La Gorce Country Club. She found that she had a knack for teaching and her dreams of becoming a doctor or physical therapist were put on the backburner. She left La Gorce after 4 years as an assistant golf professional to take a job at the Golf Academy at Old Greenwood where she worked under, top 100 instructor, Keith Lyford, and spent winters as the teaching professional at Riviera Country Club. She has spent time with notable teachers: Keith Lyford, Bob Toski, Charlie King, Todd Anderson, Gayle Peterson, Mike Shannon, Randy Myers, and Rick Martino. She enjoys teaching men, women, and juniors of all ability levels. She works with each student to make sure the swing being taught is one they physically are able to make. Every lesson includes the body/swing connection. Renée also spends time arranging women and couples golf trips around the world. Renée is a Class A PGA and LPGA member and a TPI level one golf professional.
