Director of Golf
Bob was born in Rhode Island, raised in Connecticut, and graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. He enjoyed much success as an amateur golfer prior to becoming a Golf Professional in 1985. Bob started his PGA Golf Professional career as an Assistant at Plainfield Country Club, Plainfield, New Jersey. After two summers in New Jersey, he moved to Southeast Florida and became the Head Golf Professional at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens. In 1995, he was recruited to be the Director of Golf at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. In 2005, Bob returned to PGA National as the Director of Golf and was instrumental in securing PGA National as the host site for the PGA Tour’s Honda Classic. After the sale of PGA National, Bob moved on to be the Director of Golf at The Fairmont Turnberry Isle in 2008. Following 28 years of consistent high performance and growth, Bob was selected to be the Director of Golf at The Biltmore in 2013.
Throughout his PGA Golf Professional career, Bob has been recognized by his peers for his accomplishments, including the following awards: Golf Inc. Magazine’s Most Admired Golf Operator in America; South Florida PGA Section and Chapter Golf Professional of the Year; South Florida PGA Section and Chapter Merchandiser of the Year. In addition, Bob served the PGA Section and Chapter as an elected Officer and member of the Board of Directors from 1993 – 2002.
Bob and his wife, Kim, have been married since 1987. They have three children (Katherine, Kristina and Robert), and one granddaughter (Madison).
Head Golf Professional, Tournament Director
Lara earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She grew up playing golf with her Dad, Mike Pavloff at the Oxford Country Club where her house was located on the second hole fairway.
Lara began her golf career in Northern Michigan as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Leelanau Club in Suttons Bay, Michigan. She took her first golf job in Florida as an Assistant Pro at Doral Golf Resort and Spa before accepting a position at The Biltmore.
Lara started as an Assistant Golf Professional and was able to work her way to Head Golf Professional and Tournament Director. Throughout her time at the Biltmore she has been steadily working through the PGA of America’s apprentice program. She is now a Class A member of the PGA of America. Lara is also a Titleist Performance Institute certified golf professional.
