Our short game evaluation grades one’s ability in being able to hit various shots from ten different locations around or on the green, you will hit 10 shots from each location. Our first two locations will give us a baseline in which to grade the rest of the evaluation, which is the percentage out of ten that you can successfully make putts from 3 feet and 6 feet. We then test your ability to lag putt from 20 feet and 40 feet to see how efficiently you can get the ball to stop inside the 3 foot and 6 foot parameter. From there we test your short chip shots, long chip shots, short pitches, long pitches, short bunker shots, and then finally your long bunker shots, every shot being graded on your ability to get the ball within the three foot and six foot parameter. With this information we can not only determine numerically the percentage that you are able to get certain shots up and down, but also identify the strengths and weaknesses of your short game. This gives us insight when we are building a game plan for your course management and practice habits.
