Important Notice For Your Stay
We are delighted to be hosting the City of Gables’ Fireworks Celebration and we know you are in for a real treat. This event is highly attended by guests and the general public and in the past, we have seen attendance of over 30,000 people. This year, we expect similar numbers.
In order to prepare for this event, the City of Coral Gables Police Department will be making road closures and limiting parking. Please note the following arrangements, we have put together, so that you may plan accordingly:
IF YOU ARE CHECKING IN TO THE BILTMORE ON JULY 4TH
Please arrive prior to 2pm. The City of Coral Gables Police Department will be closing surrounding streets, including Anastasia Avenue on July 4th starting at 2pm. Once the streets are closed, no traffic is permitted to the hotel, including taxi’s and ride shares like Uber and Lyft.
We highly recommend that you arrive prior to 2pm. Though check-in time is at 4:00 p.m., we will be happy to hold your luggage until your room is ready.
Parking will be limited.
IF YOU ARE DEPARTING/CHECKING OUT OF THE BILTMORE ON JULY 4th
Check-out time is at 12noon. Unfortunately, we are unable to grant any late check-outs.
The pool will be closed to non-registered guests. Only guests confirmed to be staying over on the night of July 4th will be provided with credentials to access the pool area on the 4th.

Parking Information From The City Of Coral Gables
Limited free parking will be available at Municipal Garage 4 at 345 Andalusia Avenue (Garage 4 pickups will take place from Coral Gables City Hall) and the University of Miami’s Pavia Garage at 5615 Pavia Street. Last pickup from City Hall and the Pavia Garage will be at 8:15 p.m. Return shuttles will continue throughout the evening.

7. Can I see the fireworks without a ticket?
Yes, free public viewing of the fireworks is available on the Biltmore Golf Course.
8. Is this event suitable for young children?
Yes, suitable for people of all ages. Please note some fireworks are louder than others.
10. Who is allowed to access the pool?
On the 4th of July the pool is open to registered hotel guest and guest with a pool cabana wrist ban only. Member’s who are not registered hotel guest or who not have been issued a pool cabana wrist band may not use the pool on the 4th of July.

Question: What can I take into the viewing areas on the golf course?
You are allowed to bring binoculars, cameras, blankets, beach towels and fold up chairs for the event.
Question: What isn’t allowed in all the viewing areas and hotel property?
Your are not allowed to bring any weapons, fireworks, flammables, sparklers, alcohol or illegal drugs.
Question: Can I bring pets?
The only pets allowed to the event are those that are ADA Service animals.
Question: What time should I arrive?
We recommend to get to event early. 5pm would be a good time to arrive for the 4th of July events.
Question: What time does the free public event start/end?
The 4th of July event starts at 730pm and usually goes until 930pm depending upon weather.
Question: Can I come in after the specified entry times?
We recommend to come to event early. Access will be allowed until the 4th of July event starts.
Question: What do I need to bring with me to get into the event?
You do not need a ticket to view fireworks. If you have reserved a ticket for the Stars and Stripes BBQ dinner then you would bring your pdf ticket printed out or on your mobile device to receive your wrist bands to gain access.
Question: Where do I enter the event if I do not have a ticket?
There are no tickets needed to see the fireworks. It is a public event that can be accessed at 1200 Anastasia Avenue, Coral Gables, FL 33134.
Question: How long is the fireworks show?
The Spectacular Fireworks display last for a breath taking 20 minutes.
Question: How long will it take to leave the event after the fireworks finish?
This is a highly attended event so please plan for at least 1 to 2 hours to get out from the event depending upon the type of transportation you are using.
Important Security, Safety and Public Accessibility
Question: Who is managing security at the event?
The City of Coral Gables police department will be handling the security at the Fireworks display at The Biltmore Golf Course.
Question: Can I bring a drone?
No, anyone who brings a drone will not be allowed into the event. No drones are prohibited.
Question: What access provisions are in place for the event?
The event will be held by the City of Coral Gables. There will be contracted security experts and the Coral Gables police department on site to help make the event as safe as possible.
Question: Where is the Accessible Viewing Area?
The accessible viewing area will be at the west parking lot of The Biltmore Golf Course.
Question: I have access requirements. Can I be dropped off by car?
Yes, there will be accessible parking spots available at the event.
Question: I need a Personal Assistant to support me at the event. Can I get a pass for him or her?
Yes, If you have caregiver he or she can attend too. The firework viewing is a public event no tickets or passes are required.
Question: Will there be portable bathrooms?
Yes, there will be portable bathrooms located at various locations on the Biltmore golf course.
Question: Are there disabled toilet facilities?
Yes, there will be portable bathrooms that meet the ADA Standards.
Question: Will there be food and drinks for sale?
Yes, there will be various types of foods and drinks being sold by vendors on the golf course property for you to enjoy and have good time.
Question: Can I bring my own food and drink (including alcohol)?
You can bring your own food on the golf course but not alcohol. Alcohol is available for purchase from various vendors on the golf course area.
Question: Is there a covered area if it rains?
No, we recommend to check the weather report and come prepared should we get a rain shower. Umbrellas and ponchos are allowed on the golf course for the event.
Question: Is there a first aid station?
Yes, there will be various first aid stations located on the golf course area that will be operated by City of Coral Gables.
Question: Will there be Wi-Fi in the ticketed area?
No.

Question: How many people am I allowed to have in my room during the 4th of July?
The number of registered guests per room is the allowed amount of occupants on the 4th of July event day.
Question: If I am a hotel guest would I need a wrist band?
Every registered guest will need to wear a HOTEL ACCESS band on property
Question: If I check out on the 4th of July can I still access the pool?
NO, there will be no extended use of facilities for guests checking out on the 4th. Only reservations that encompass the night of the 4th will have access to the pool.
Question:Will there be gym pool classes on July 4th?
No Gym Pool Classes. Members cannot use the pool at all on the 4th.
Question: I’ve already booked a room at Biltmore hotel. Are we guaranteed tickets?
You do not need a ticket to view the fireworks on the golf course.
Question: I have a room at Biltmore Hotel. Can I invite my friends who are not guests to the event?
Yes, you can invite your friends to the public viewing area on the golf course but they won’t be allowed on property if they do not have a wrist band.
