Jim McLean Golf School At The Biltmore
The Biltmore Hotel is proud to be the home to Jim McLean’s renowned Golf School World Headquarters. The Jim McLean Golf School has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report, CNN, and Travel & Leisure Magazine as the #1 Golf School in America.
Since the school opened its doors in 1991, it has produced major championship winners on the PGA, LPGA, and Champion Tour winners. Jim McLean is a former professional golfer and renowned instructor with over 30 years of experience and is a member of six halls of fame including the MET PGA Hall of Fame, the World Teachers Hall of Fame, the South Florida PGA Hall of Fame and the Miami Sports Hall of Fame.
The Jim McLean Golf School at The Biltmore Hotel offers a comprehensive variety of lessons and golf instruction experiences with world class golf professionals and state-of-the-art techniques.
Jim McLean is joined by his son Jon McLean as General Manager. Jon played eight years as a professional golfer. Jon McLean will focus on short game and world-class putting instruction. Grayson Zacker, ranked as a top teacher in America, is the Jim McLean Golf School director of instruction.
Players Must Adhere To The Following Guidelines:

Lesson will be booked with a 30 min buffer to allow for disinfecting and restocking golf balls
Either walk to the back of the range and meet your instructor at the lesson area or coordinate in advance a pick up in the parking lot by your instructor. (There will be a few transporters available for pick up and drop off.)
If your instructor picks you up with a transporter you must sit in the back row and handle
your own clubs.
IN THE LESSON
No physical contact between instructor and student at any time
Instructors and students must wear mask during lesson
Students must have their own clubs. No rental sets
Instructors are the only ones to touch the golf balls
Teachers will not touch students clubs, golf bags or individuals.
Teachers and students will stay at least 6 feet apart at all times.
Lessons will take place either under the awning, on the back range tee, the public range tee, or on the golf course
Lesson spots will be spaced minimum of 4 paces apart (12 feet)
Use of indoor teaching bays and video rooms will not be allowed
Use of the awning will be limited to 3 lessons at a time, spread out 1 lesson per section
No water bottles and coolers on the range. Students should bring their own water bottle for lessons
