The Biltmore Hotel Miami introduces an Arts Concierge Program ahead of Miami’s Art Week
in celebration of Art Basel Miami and Miami’s Art Week from 7-10 December 2017.
Developed in conjunction with and hosted by Dragonfly Expeditions, the oldest and most prestigious tour operator in South Florida, the program offers special VIP access to the private viewings, exhibitions, parties and performances that take place throughout the buzzing city during Miami’s Art Week.
World-renowned art expert Judy Holm, an arts and culture veteran with 25 years of experience will accompany the guests, sharing her wealth of knowledge and making introductions to the artists and celebrities of Art Basel. Art enthusiasts will be guided through the city with a private chauffeur as Judy offers an insider’s view of the art and private collections on show. In addition, Judy will conduct a personalised phone consultation with the guests to create a completely bespoke itinerary and experience.
Following a day of exploring the city’s artistic offerings, the art aficionados will retreat back to the serenity of one of The Biltmore Hotel’s one-bedroom suites, with breath taking views of the hotel’s expansive championship golfcourse and pool, the largest on the East Coast of America.
During Art Basel, the hotel will also be home to an exhibition, “Abandoned Vehicles of the Everglades” by Florida native Matt Stock. Matt works closely with national parks, non-profit organisations and historical societies to raise awareness about worldly issues. The exhibition will showcase how mankind retreated from the Everglades and left behind their settlements and vehicles and will tell their story from past to present day.
The Art Concierge Program is the latest addition to the new partnership between The Biltmore Hotel and Dragonfly Expeditions, who earlier this year announced to a bespoke selection of excursions to immerse intrepid travellers into Miami’s culture and history.
Prices for the Art Concierge package start from $28,999 (approx. £22,269) based on two people sharing a one bedroom suite for four nights, including daily private tours Judy Holm, VIP access and ticket fees for all art galleries, all day private chauffeur transportation and daily breakfast.
