O Biltmore Hotel encarrega D’Shakil Designs e Studio 5 Design + Architecture
para o novo projeto de design de seu lendário lobby principal

CORAL GABLES, Flórida (02 de maio, 2017) – O Hotel Biltmore, um marco histórico nacional e hotel deluxo no coração de Coral Gables, anunciou sua parceria com D’Shakil Designs e Studio 5 Design +Architecture para projetar novos aprimoramentos no lendário lobby principal do hotel. Previsto paraserem concluídas em julho de 2017, as melhorias incluirão novos materiais, cortinas e móveis em todo oespaço.

Inspirando-se na arquitetura icônica da propriedade e nos afrescos do teto, D’Shakil Designs e Studio 5 seguirão a visão original criada por George Merrick, o influente desenvolvedor atrás de Coral Gables e uma figura instrumental no estabelecimento do The Biltmore Hotel. Merrick combinou sua profunda afeição pela exuberante paisagem do sul da Flórida com sua alta consideração pelas influências clássicas italianas, mouras e espanholas, resultando na espetacular arquitetura mediterrânea que atualmente domina o lobby principal do hotel. As empresas utilizaram este projeto ao curar o lobby do novo design, incorporando luxuosos tecidos e materiais que oferecem uma nova abordagem, mantendo a integridade do passado histórico da propriedade.

Utilizando entalhes de madeira, folha de ouro e materiais de luxo, uma sinergia de estilo e substância vai transpirar para trazer um toque moderno que mantém a sensação tradicional do hotel. O luxuoso e detalhado tapete de lã com profundas tonalidades azuis será introduzido como um pedaço de destaque, juntamente com ricos azulejos de veludo verde e azul e mobiliário que irá homenagear a reputação distinta do Biltmore como um destino de referência para a opulência e grandeza.
