What Is Microblading?
Microblading is a form of semi-permanent make up which is implemented using a hand-held tool. Microblading closes gaps, creates shapes and arches, and fills in your brows to form the natural looking eyebrows that you have been waiting for. Papercut-like incisions are made with the microblade to deposit the pigment, creating the look desired.
How Is Microblading Different From Tattooing?
Eyebrow tattoo is done with a motorized device, whereas microblading is done using a hand-held tool. This tool is used to simulate hair strokes in the brow. Microblading uses pigment rather than ink, which has a thicker consistency and has more staying power
Does Microblading Hurt?
Before we begin, a liquid anesthetic is used on the brow area. You may feel a slight discomfort.
What To Expect In The First Session:
During your first session, Tilza custom designs your brow shape based on your bone structure, face shape, and other factors. The pigment choice is then selected. You will then be numbed using a lidocaine cream.
How Long Is The First Session?
Approximately 2 hours from start to finish
How To Care For The Treated Area?
We recommend forgetting you had anything done and leaving the treated area completely alone for seven full days. Which means, no rubbing, touching, sweating, swimming, or wetting of the treated area. Do not apply any product on the treated area including petroleum jelly during the healing process as it may delay healing and/or remove pigment.
What To Expect The Day After:
You will notice your eyebrows looking much darker than usual. This is completely normal and they will go back to their natural color after about a week.
What To Expect A Week After:
You will notice mild scabbing, peeling, and itchiness of the area. It is important not to touch, scratch, or rub the area, as this could remove pigment.
