Biltmore Hotel is committed to facilitating the accessibility and usability of its Web site, biltmorehotel.com, for all people with disabilities. We are making every effort to ensure that our website is accessible as possible to all of our customers including those who are blind or partially sighted and use screen readers. The Biltmore Hotel is in the process of implementing the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA) as its web accessibility standard. Our website will be tested on a periodic basis with assistive technology, such as screen readers and screen magnifiers, and with users with disabilities who use these technologies.
Closed Captioning
Closed captioning provides a transcript for the audio track of a video presentation that is synchronized with the video and audio tracks. Captions are generally visually displayed over the video, which benefits people who are deaf and hard of hearing, and anyone who cannot hear the audio due to noisy environments. We are in the process of making all of our video content to include captions. However, please note that certain software and equipment may not support closed captioning at this time. The Biltmore Hotel continues to work with its technology and distribution partners to enable this support wherever possible.
