Interview With Katie
Best place to pop the question on property?
The possibilities are endless! However, my favorite spot has to be the Everglades Suite for its grandeur, unique architecture, and romantic setting. A few other unforgettable spots include the bridge by the 7th hole on our golf course as well as any of our historical grand ballrooms.
Seven Commandments of proposing?
1. Ask her parents for their blessing
2. Make it a complete surprise
3. Feel free to make it epic…like really, really epic
4. Make sure her nails are done
5. Capture it on camera
6. Have your friends and family surprise her after
7. Sweep her off her feet
Best place to take photos?
The completely revamped and refurnished hotel lobby has a fresh and vibrant color palette of blues and greens and incredible hand painted ceilings which create the perfect back drop.
Best time of year to get engaged at The Biltmore?
Due to Miami’s loveable yet pesky summer months (that last just about all year), I’d narrow it down to the couple months of relief from the heat and humidity – December through February.
Other ways to enjoy The Biltmore besides the engagement?
Indulge yourself in the relaxation and decadence of our world class spa, take a dip in one of the largest hotel swimming pools in the U.S., or tee off where legends have played on our Donald Ross Championship golf course.
